We are excited to announce that we can now do in-house blood tests! This means that 
we can test a blood sample on your pet in the clinic and have a result in 15 minutes. What’s even better is that the tests are cheaper than what we could previously have run through the lab!
Biochemistry blood tests provide a detailed look at your pet’s internal health and are a useful indicator of the health and function of your pet’s organ systems.
Most importantly a blood test can identify disease before clinical signs are evident. Earlier identification of disease makes successful treatment more likely, often lowers long-term treatment costs and increases your pet’s life expectancy.
For pets on long-term medication, a blood test is really important as it allows us to check that there are no unwanted side-effects. For example, long-term use of arthritis medication and steroids can place a strain on your pet’s stomach lining, liver and kidneys – all of which readily show on a blood test.
We are so excited about our new machine that we are offering an introductory offer on all in house testing:

The panels will give a reliable indication of how well your pet is coping on long-term medication and how well the internal organs are functioning. A test will now also give us a baseline so we know what is normal for your pet, with any further test results able to be compared to it.
